 Here’s my daughter Karen at the start of this year’s event. She was an excellent driver and navigator. This is the first year I have ever been at the designated starting point on time. In the background is the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. It is 60 foot longer than the Golden Gate Bridge but not nearly as famous. It spans the mouth of the Hudson River connecting Stanton Island (Richmond County) with Brooklyn (Kings County). |

 We’re on Coney Island at the South tip of Brooklyn to give out Kings County. Here I am removing the whip antenna so I can attach the large telescoping antenna. |
