I was invited to stay at the home of Andrew, ZS6WPX.
He and his family reside in a small village called Waterval Boven (the v’s are pronounced like f’s).
It is in the North Eastern region of the country and about 3-1/2 hours from Johannesburg by car.

Andre’s home served as an excellent base point of operations as from there we made one trip into Kruger National Park and two different trips into Swaziland (see section on 3DAØ).

Steam Engine Train Ride
WJ2O- Dave. We took a short trip on this steam engine driven train.

At the end of the ride we come to the waterfall which is the namesake for Waterval Boven.

Kruger National Park
Kruger Park Cabanas.
At the park there are several camps where you can spend the night. Our first night was spent here.
